Required Skills:

1+ years commercial experience in functional, front end/back end, acceptance, regression and system integration testing
1+ years writing test automation code using one or more of the following tools (Selenium Webdriver, xUnit testing framework, other testing libraries/frameworks)
Experience writing test cases from business acceptance criteria
Experience or interest in Behavioural Driven Development best practices
Ability to identify and execute test cases specifically related to web-based or mobile specific systems
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of formal defect management using tracking systems such as JIRA
Understanding of web languages and technologies (HTML,CSS, JS, HTTP protocols, etc.)
Experience with programming and/or scripting in one or more languages (PHP, Python, Java, Javascript,, etc.)
B2 (High intermediate level of English) with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding suitability of unit, integration, and UI acceptance testing for ensuring quality

Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following:

Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
Experience with Ecommerce tools such as Magento
Practical knowledge of one or more test management tools (Hiptest, TestRail, etc.)
Familiarity with JIRA
Knowledge of one or more BDD automated testing frameworks (Behat, Cucumber, RSpec, etc.)
Experience working with cross functional development teams
Hands-on experience with Linux
Experience using or administering CI build systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI)
Understanding and ability to apply OOP and design patterns to test automation code

Role Responsibilities:

Work closely with Engineering and Product Management to help turn user needs into automatable tests
Understand and promote Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) best practices
Continuously improve our QA processes and approach including frequent reviews of new approaches and techniques
Define and document test scenarios, test activities and test data
Ensure test coverage maintained for new code
Drive best practices for technical quality across technical teams
Participate in functional, API, integration, regression and acceptance testing for website and mobile sign off and release testing
Where required, participate in cross team related testing activities to support release delivery
Work alongside development teams within an agile delivery framework to promote testing best practices and improve test automation code quality
