We are searching for a contract Script & Tools QA Engineer to sit onsite at Snap Inc! Working from our Odessa office, you’ll play a key role in building and shaping key features that millions of people use every day.It’s full-time contract position.
What you’ll do:
— Perform QA for feature and product teams;
— Test app functionality, usability, hardware/software compatibility;
— Test rich graphic resources and designs;
— Participate in release processes for the entire company;
— Drive bug prioritization and work cross-functionally with engineering/design;
— Prepare test documentation so as to assist in automation process;
— Work with Customer Operations and investigate bugs reported by users.
What we’re looking for:
— At least 1.5 years of experience in software QA;
— Proven experience in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android, web and desktop applications;
— Knowledge of photo/video editing tools and principles. Experience with 3D animation and/or VFX will be a plus;
— Good knowledge of popular ALM and bug-tracking systems, such as Atlassian JIRA;
— Collaboration with colleagues in a distributed product-team environment;
— Good understanding of software product lifecycle;
— Ability to investigate GUI-related defects, retrieve logs and provide concise bug reports;
— Close attention to design and quality of graphical resources;
— Knowledge of photo/video technologies on iOS and Android;
— Someone who can work with stakeholders to develop appropriate testing methodologies;
— Someone who can handle flexible work-hours: full-time, weekends, and late nights as needed. Your typical workday will be around 12 PM — 9 PM;
