PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Our customer is a company that designs and develops an on-demand staffing platform for temporary workers. They are looking to change the future of work by adding transparency and automation to the staffing of blue-collar positions. They are the best platform to quickly fill short term, low complexity positions with high-quality candidates. It enables employers to post jobs for hiring workers, as well as provides screening, onboarding, interview scheduling, payroll, invoicing and time tracking services.
The Company serves customers in the United States. They offer the flexibility of a mobile-based staffing platform, with the benefits of the legal protections from a traditional w2 staffing model. We are looking for a software engineer experienced in server-side programming using Kotlin to work in our team of talented developers.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the stakeholders and follow the established process
Take part in requirements analysis, task planning, estimation, coding and participate in regular code reviews
Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
Report to TL about current tasks status, technical or other risks

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
3+ years of commercial development experience
Strong Kotlin knowledge or Java knowledge and willingness to learn Kotlin
Experience with Micronaut or similar framework
Understanding of REST architecture
Understanding of microservice architecture
Good communication and collaboration skills
Sufficient English level for communication (verbal & written)

WOULD BE A PLUS:
Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in mobile development using Kotlin, Swift or React Native
Experience with AWS infrastructure (S3, DynamoDB, ECR)
Understanding of CI/CD concepts
Fast research and learning skills
