Purpose of the job:
Our customer is developing an extensive portfolio for screening, diagnosis and monitoring of a wide range of health conditions, including infectious diseases. Diagnostic testing is largely dominated by central laboratories, a distance away from the local healthcare settings where patients are tested. There are often delays in receiving results and initiating the correct treatment or referral. Customer’s goal is to enable fast, comprehensive and cost-effective health analysis, regardless of location.
You will have a chance to participate in the lab quality PCR test project which is starting completely from scratch (from discovery phase). The focus will lay on the batch-based testing as well as the testing site of the product usage journey. The outcome of this project will be Windows desktop application which will cover customer requirements.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design test plans, documents and test cases
Testing different elements of the system
Review functional requirements
Monitoring and enforcing all processes and procedures for testing (e.g. build and environment availability).
Implement and execute manual tests for new features as well as regression
Work closely with development to isolate, record, and track issues
Communicate project and testing status to stakeholders
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5 + years of commercial experience in Software Quality Assurance
Deep understanding of core testing processes
Experience in creating test cases, test design
Experience in using of test management tool(s)
Experience in test planning and estimating
Knowledge of bug tracking tool(s) and process
Experience of work in Agile environments
Good English and communication skill
WOULD BE A PLUS:
Basic experience with Python scripting
Experience working with QMS documents
Experience working in medicine-related projects
