ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our client is one of the world largest marketplace, dealing with one billion events per day. Currently, we are building team which will work onsite at customer office in San Francisco. As part of this team we’re looking for Java Team Lead who will be able to participate in the whole life cycle of the new Data Access Policy Implementation and find the best technical solutions for our customer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Holding the Team Leader role, managing 4+ people team
— Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
— Work in a close contact with team members and project stakeholders on customer’s site
— Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
— Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
— Take part in requirements analyzes
— Interact with customer and provide technical solutions
— Conducts technical interviews

REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE:
— 1+ years of management experience
— 5+ years of commercial Java development experience
— Experience working with Hive, HBase
— HDFS, ORC, Parquet
— EMR, S3
— Data Security Principles
— Unit Testing
— Well-developed communication and team-working skills
— at least Upper-Intermediate level of English
