ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Our client is a company that provides various cloud-based data protection, backup and disaster recovery solutions. The product is a secure cloud backup application that will be designed and developed from scratch.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Develop macOS application from scratch
— Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
— Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the customer’s side
— Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
— Write quality and maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment
— Take part in requirements analysis
— Take part in software architecture design

— 3+ years of macOS development experience
— Strong knowledge of Swift and macOS frameworks
— Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns
— Good understanding of macOS Human Interface Guidelines
— Experience with source code management systems such as Git, Mercurial or Subversion
— Good knowledge of all phases of the development lifecycle
— Intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS:
— iOS development experience
— Experience with Objective-C and/or C++
— Experience with secure coding techniques
— Experience in Agile development methodologies — Scrum, Kanban
