Purpose of the job

Our customer is one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world that builds data analytics and visualization software to improve the quality of processes and their performance.

We are looking for a Python Architect to lead the development of a product in the scope of a data engineering platform, be a key technical resource to drive and own R Studio implementation and integration

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Technical delivery of an R Studio based simulation engine & logic as per the business, functional and architectural requirements
• Creation of a connected ecosystem that binds front-end, data science engine, DBs and data sources
• Technical delivery of data models, scheduling, synchronization, versioning in the simulation exploratory environment
• Build and maintain AWS lambda functions to implement a calculation engine
• Build API connectivity to R Studio and the rest of the platform components
Education, skills, and experience

Must have:

• 7+ years of commercial development experience
• 2+ years of Team Lead experience
• Excellent Python knowledge
• Experience with microservice architecture and integrations with 3rd party systems
• Understanding of REST architecture and HTTP protocol
• Full application lifecycle management experience
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Would be a plus:

• R ecosystem experience(R Studio, R Shiny)
• Experience with AWS platform
• Experience with data engineering tools
• Experience with medical business domain
