Our client is a US company working in fintech sector and focused on becoming the global standard for modern card issuing. Their journey is about simplifying payments for businesses, and as of now they define modern card issuing category. On this project you’d have a chance to test best in class API-first fintech platform written in microservices architecture with hundreds of thousands of production users.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze application resource utilization and code execution metrics to drive optimization
• Designing and developing performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability tests
• Implement and maintain a performance/load testing framework
• Work closely with Engineering teams
• Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have:
• Decent background in performance and load testing
• Strong knowledge of JMeter/Gatling
• Good knowledge of Java (Java 8+) and/or Scala
• Good knowledge of relational DBs / SQL (MySQL)
Nice to have:
• Understanding of Financial sector and Global Finance
• Basic knowledge of docker and AWS
