PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our experienced Lohika Network Team in their ongoing software networking and hardware tasks. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be involved in the short-term projects of Lohika customers.
Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining network strategies as well as well investigating the new technologies and ways to apply them in the workflow. For example, Cisco Security products, such as Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower, and monitoring system Cisco Stealth, WiFi network based on Cisco WLC.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrate new network devices and support existing integrations
Collaborate with Network Engineers on better ways to perform and debug integrations
Understand nuances of Network Debugging — specific device configurations and network protocols
Perform thorough Code Reviews
Follow agile programming best practices: continuous refactoring, comprehensive testing
Develop a comprehensive test suite
Identify and manage technical risks
Interact with customer and provide technical solutions

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ experience with the network engineering and enterprise level WAN, LAN and WLAN solutions
Fluency with Basic Networking: Ethernet, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, IPSec, NAT, DNS, DHCP, NetFlow etc.
Working knowledge of Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 3800/2900 and Cisco Wireless LAN controllers.
Deploy Cisco network routers, switches, firewalls
Knowledge of various VPN technologies.

WOULD BE A PLUS
Excellent documentation skills, including experience creating and maintaining network diagrams.
CCNA, CCNP certification/cource or equivalent industry experience required
Multi-Vendor Load balancer experience is a plus
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Bourne shell, Ruby, Python)
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
Experience working with virtualization technology. (VMWare, OpenStack, AWS, Azure)
