Project Description:
American company that creates innovative digital forensics applications for global law enforcement agencies, legal firms, the defense sector, and private corporations. We are seeking a talented and motivated manual tester to join our expanding team and work in the exciting and ever-evolving fields of digital forensics, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, and tactical site exploitation.
The position requires working from our office in Lviv.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience managing small, distributed, and international SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS of 10+
people. - 2+ years as a software engineer with a solid foundation in software architecture.
- Proven track record of successfully RELEASING SOFTWARE PRODUCTS using an agile process.
- Expert in Scrum methodology.
- Ability to have a comprehensive view of the projects to connect ideas and team members.
- Ability to extract the finest technical details from the team to improve estimates.
- Experience with configuring and using project management software (Atlassian, Google Workspace, etc).
- Passion for simple processes and continuous improvements.
- Experience in finding and leveraging peak resources (freelancers).
- Fluent English to work with team members in the US and Europe.
- A software development background is a MUST.
The following skills are optional but would be a big plus:
- Scrum Master or Project Manager certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage our 3 software development teams to make sure we release great products on time.
- Ensure efficient processes and communication across all team members.
- Monitor teams progress daily and keep everyone laser-focused on delivering value.
- Facilitate the Scrum ceremonies (daily stand ups, Sprint planning, Sprint demos, Sprint retrospectives, backlog
grooming, etc). - Ensure proper understanding of the Stories and challenge their estimations.
- Provide on-time deliveries by creating accurate estimates with the teams.
- Anticipate team issues and facilitate resolution.
- Provide clear KPIs monthly (burndown, velocity, business value).
- Audit and manage teams’ performance and motivation.
- Animate the teams to foster collaboration and trust.
