Project Description:

American company that creates innovative digital forensics applications for global law enforcement agencies, legal firms, the defense sector, and private corporations. We are seeking a talented and motivated manual tester to join our expanding team and work in the exciting and ever-evolving fields of digital forensics, eDiscovery, cyber security, and tactical site exploitation.

The position requires working from our office in Lviv.

Requirements:

• Must be a team player in a distributed work environment with team members in the US and Europe. Be a great
  communicator and know how to make your work visible.
• 3+ years of experience as a manual tester of desktop applications and web applications.
• Experience in executing manual test plans and carefully documenting results.
• Experience in creating test cases from functional and technical requirements.
• Must be able to communicate in English easily with remote teammates.
• Upper-Intermediate English.

The following skills are optional but would be a big plus:

• Experience with computer security/computer forensic is a plus.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Experience with JSON is a plus.
• Experience with GUI usability testing is a plus.
• Experience with SCRUM is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Create test scenarios and produce necessary test data for upcoming features.
• Execute test scenarios and meticulously document results and anomalies.
• Define test strategy between manual and automated tests to maximize coverage and efficiency.
• Maintain and improve test scenarios and test data.
• Help reproduce bugs reported by users to help the development team fix them.
• Assess product usability and share your feedback with our Business Analyst.
