We are looking for a business analyst to join our Lionwood.software team in Lviv. You will work with pre-sale activity with potential customers. That means tight cooperation with our Engagement Manager and Business Development Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 — 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or software development environment
- Ability to understand and discuss technical solutions, especially in the context of IT services or software solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients during the requirement-gathering and proposal stages
- Expert in developing software product specifications, prioritizing product backlog, managing roadmap, market, and competitors’ analysis
- Proficiency in preparing detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and RFP responses
- Skilled in process mapping and modeling (e.g., BPMN) to translate client requirements into actionable solutions
- Knowledge of Software development Life Cycle and the Agile methodology (especially Scrum and Kanban)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset to understand and break down complex business requirements
- Fluency in Ukrainian
- C1 English level is required
- Ability to work from the office located in Lviv
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales and customer engagement teams by gathering client requirements, evaluating client needs, and proposing technical solutions.
- Work with internal teams to prepare and deliver proposals, RFPs, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure solutions meet client needs.
- Liaise between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and understanding of requirements throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct research on industry trends and customer needs to support the pre-sale process with relevant data and insights.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and development.
- Focused on delivering solutions that align with the customer’s business goals and objectives.
