Key Responsibilities:
Manage, build, configure, monitor, and recover PostgreSQL databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into database solutions.
Lead efforts to design and implement database architectures that meet business needs and scalability requirements.
Develop and maintain database standards and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for PostgreSQL database.
Expertise in advanced features like partitioning, replication, and continuous archiving for point-in-time recovery.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Proactively monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
Stay current with PostgreSQL best practices, tools, and technologies to continually improve database operations.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
Expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases in high-availability environments.
Strong understanding of database design principles, performance tuning, and query optimization.
Experience with database security, including access controls and encryption.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, etc.
Ability to document database designs, configurations, and procedures clearly and comprehensively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
English at Upper-Intermediate level and above
