1+ years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL, OEL)
Knowledge of the principles of servers hardware, LAN, system room organization
Understanding of network protocols, OSI levels
Storage subsystems basic knowledge — RAID, volume managers
Knowledge of high availability principles in high-loaded business critical environments
Installing and configuring servers — preferably based on internal customers’ requirements but according to common sense, best practices and Company’s politics and procedures
Understanding storage area networks (SAN) principles
Setting up of load balancing servers (haproxy, nginx, keepalived)
Knowledge of Citrix Netscaler load balancers — as a plus!
Connection and configuring systems to monitoring, backup, inventory infrastructure
Experience with monitoring tools (HPE Operation Bridge, Zabbix), integration with backup infrastructure (HPE Data Protector) — as a plus!
Experience with OS like Solaris, HP-UX, Windows Server — as a plus!
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (shell, perl, python etc)
English skills for learning technical documentation, finding solutions, communication with vendors/support
Understanding ITIL recommendations and standards as a plus (incident, problem, change, service management)
