System Engineer — DevOps — Openstack & Kubernetes (вакансія неактивна)

We’re inviting a System Engineer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the infrastructure stack.

• Specify, maintain and support hardware to keep systems running reliably.

• Keep services and software up to date through regular updates and patching.

• Enhance our metrics and log collection to improve visibility and performance.

• Document, refine and optimize internal policies and procedures.

• Automate routine workflows to increase efficiency.

• Partner with development and network teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Take part in on-call support when required.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 3+ years of Linux/Unix administration experience.

• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).

• 1+ year deploying, managing, or configuring Kubernetes services.

• 1+ year deploying and managing OpenStack clusters.

• 1+ year experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).

• Experience building and operating online, fault-tolerant distributed systems.

• Familiarity with a broad range of open-source technologies.

• Knowledge of IT operations best practices in always-on, public-facing environments.

• Familiarity with networked and software-defined storage technologies (NFS, RAID, Ceph).

Required Experience & Skills:

• Solid experience with Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or CentOS

• At least 1 year working with automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Jenkins)

• Hands-on experience with OVirt and Gluster from an infrastructure perspective

• Skilled in troubleshooting hardware issues and managing on-premises infrastructure

• Familiarity with Agile and Continuous Delivery practices

• Strong SQL skills and experience as a DBA on open-source databases

• Experience with monitoring (Prometheus, Alertmanager) and visualization tools (Grafana)

• Knowledge of Juju is a plus
