The QA Engineer at Reach Financial is responsible for implementing new tests, maintain existing test code, and refactor existing test code for front-end and back-end applications across various products. The ideal candidate has the ability to function in an agile software development lifecycle and will thrive in a hands-on, focused, productive and team-oriented environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders and dev leads to prepare appropriate testing approaches.
- Analyze, discuss and clarify test requirements with product and development teams
- Manage test environments and setup/maintain test datasets
- Configure and maintain test management suites using TestRail, Xray or similar
- Evaluate where and how to increase/improve automation test coverage
Requirements:
- 3-5+ year of experience designing and executing manual, automated, end-to-end integration tests in API-driven applications
- Automation expertise using popular tools and frameworks such as RestAssured, Cucumber, Selenide or similar
- Experience in setting up API tests for REST APIs and Web Services
- Strong Java skills
- Experience in testing microservices backend
- Ability to learn and understand new features, and work with business analysts and product folks to understand new requirements
- Experience within an agile environment
- Comfortable switching between multiple project contexts
- English level : intermidiate +
Not required, but would be a plus if:
- Experience with AWS, Docker preferred
- Experience with Kafka, Redis preferred
- Experience with Jenkins
- Fintech Industry experience preferred
