🔹About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to join our client’s team — a leading company in the development of AI-powered engagement banking platform. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in relational databases and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems that support enterprise-grade products across multiple database management systems.

🔹Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust database architectures and table structures to support new product features.
• Set up, configure, and fine-tune relational databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and challenge database-related solutions, offering expert guidance and improvements.
• Deploy and scale databases in containerized environments (Kubernetes)
• Generate large volumes of test data to simulate real-world usage and validate performance under load.
• Ensure consistent support and compatibility of the product across all three major DBMS platforms (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).

🔹Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).
• Proven experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
• Ability to work in a product-oriented environment, ensuring database solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with product goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently collaborate cross-teams
