🔹About the project
Our customer is an international company of Dutch origins LeasePlan specialized in fleet management (leasing). Its products are composed of operational fleet management services. Since its foundation in 1963, the company became the world leader in fleet management. It has more than 85% of its employees-approximately 7400 people-working out of the Netherlands. You will work on a completely new services with high level of dependencies.
To strengthen our QA + RELEASE team, we are looking for a Release Manager to help us with expanding, optimizing and managing release operations, coordinating ongoing services/applications support and safely closing the software delivery life cycle. You will be closely working with development teams, QA team, Product Owners and other teams to make sure that new products are properly launched, and existing products are maintained with an excellent care and the possible roadblocks are removed.

🔹 What do you need to do the job?
— 4+ years professional experience in IT delivery, project implementation and operations.
— Previous QA/AQA experience is a huge plus.
— Extensive understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies for delivering software.
— Experience coordinating deployments to production (release management).
— Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and release automation is a big bonus.
— Experience running support operations.
— You quickly understand the matter, situation, process or a problem by interpreting the data; you are able to translate this into a decision, solution, conclusion, or the cause of an issue.
— Ability to build relationships with business stakeholders, domain owners, product owners, technical teams as well as contractors and/or suppliers to coordinate troubleshooting or a proper delivery.
— Extensive working experience with Atlassian products, DataDog is a bonus.
— You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

— Coordination, scaling and optimization of release operations across multiple services.
— Active collaboration with the product, software engineering and QA teams in the verification of readiness of a deployment, timely documentation of release information in applicable communication channels and gathering relevant approvals.
— Applying automation where possible.
— Rearchitecting the current release setup on all levels: CI/CD, Infrastructure, DTAP, integrations, test data, QA automation, monitoring, etc.
— Monitoring of live services as a part of the release process.
— Dashboarding of existing and new reporting/monitoring tools and make it visible throughout the company and customers.
— Organizing release activities: checklists, meetings, verifications, etc.
