The service portfolio includes all cloud adoption framework stages, migrations, data and apps modernization projects and services.
They help companies automate routine operations, build scalable and agile cloud and hybrid infrastructure, and achieve more with technologies.
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the team in Europe or Ukraine. The team specializes in:
- Fast track assessments and migrations to the cloud
- Hi-end cloud operations through the integrated cloud management platform
- Unique solutions for businesses that help to automate routine business processes
- Deep expertise team with tech and business background.
Responsibilities:
- The Data Engineer is responsible for helping select, deploy, and manage the systems and infrastructure required of a data processing pipeline to support the customer requirements.
- Primary responsibilities revolve around DevOps, including implementing ETL pipelines, monitoring/maintaining data pipeline performance, and model optimization.
- You will work on cutting-edge cloud technologies including Azure Fabric, Apache Spark, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, HD Insights, Stream Analytics, Event Grid etc., in the implementation projects for corporate clients all over Europe, CIS, UK, Middle East.
Requirements:
- You possess a degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or a related field
- You have at least 3 years of experience, ideally within a Data Engineer role
- Strong experience with Python
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
- Strong Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure) — Must Have
- Proficient experience in distributed computing principles and familiar with key architectures, and has abroad experience across a set of data stores (Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark (Spark SQL / PySpark), Azure Data Factory)
- Understanding of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
- Strong SQL-skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members at all levels
- English —at least Upper-Intermediate level
- Ukrainian — Native
- Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as Jira
- Relevant Data Engineering certification — Nice to Have
