The opportunity:

Letyshops is a shopping community. We have saved our users $100M, intending to put Ukraine on the tech map of the world. We aim to save users $100M weekly with a new, revolutionary product set to transform shopping worldwide.

We are seeking an Engineering Manager who will join the legendary team and help build the most data-heavy parts of our product — our recommender system, search, and other ways to discover the best deals across the world.

• Lead your team through all challenges
• Make our plans and ideas real
• Looking for the best ways for engineers to grow during this journey

That means that you will be responsible for:

• Analyze, propose, and manage budgets, technologies, and resources for projects
• Plan strategies for the development of designs and products on schedule and on budget
• Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders, and contractors
• Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables
• Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance and motivation
• Build, evaluate, and maintain team processes to increase performance
• Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities
• Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed
• Build technical documentation and team roadmaps

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong technical expertise, understanding of system design, and hands-on engineering experience
• Experience with data-heavy products and/or recommender systems
• More than 5 years of working within an engineering organization with progression to a managerial role
• 3+ years working in managerial roles
• English B2 or higher
