At LetsData, we build a state-of-the-art AI product used by Ukraine, other states, and the world’s largest organizations to discover and effectively navigate the risks possessed by disinformation in the modern media environment.

About the position:

As the ML Engineer of LetsData, you will actively participate in the Research and Development of new AI solutions. You will be part of our technical team to create cutting-edge solutions that harness the power of AI and data analytics.

Format: Full-time

Location: remote, offices in Kyiv and Lviv.

The main hubs for LetsData are Kyiv and Lviv, but we accept applications from everywhere.

We’re Looking for Someone Who

• Has a proven track record of at least two years of experience in NLP
• Demonstrates proficiency in broader data science tasks, including data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical analysis.
• Possesses some understanding of building cloud architecture (ideally on the Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiar with the latest advancements in NLP and Machine Learning in general
• Feels comfortable with Python.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Can freely communicate in English and Ukrainian.
• Previous experience working with data from the media and social media platforms is a significant plus.
• Most importantly: Wants to make an impact in fighting malign information influences.

In this role, you will be able to

• Participate in developing state-of-the-art AI-driven solutions in NLP and graph analysis.
• Would have a chance to visit multiple events and conferences as a representative of LetsData.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of talented engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence. We are five engineers, but we want to grow at least twice over the next year.
• You will have a chance to experience what it’s like to be working in an impact-driven product company that aims to protect society from the harms of disinformation.
• Collaborate with researchers from top universities like Cambridge and UCU.
