About the project:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Architect to join our dedicated team. You’ll be building high-performance, scalable fintech solutions for a pioneering digital, mobile-only bank, helping us redefine the future of financial services.

Technical stack for the Project: microservices architecture using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM), native mobile applications.

What You’ll Do:

• Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture
• Working together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution
• Adhere to architectural standards and best practices
• Ensuring that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements
• Providing technical guidance and support to development teams
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the solution

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field, is required, or equivalent experience.
• 8 + years of experience in one or more of the following: Java, Spring, Java EE, Development
• 3+ years of experience as an Solution/Software/Applicationa Architect on a Java-based microservices project
• Experience with cloud provider services and container technologies (AWS, Docker, API Gateway, IAM)
• Strong experience with API architecture
• Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in using Jira and Confluence documentation
• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Prior experience with Modern Core Banking systems
