Necessary skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in fields related to Sales or Account Management
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Project Management, Business Analytics, or any other relevant role in the IT sphere
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Client-focused approach to work: strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of clients
  • Team player mindset: ability to work closely with PMO to stay on top of ongoing projects
  • Proactivity: ability to think a few steps ahead of the game to make sure clients’ expectations are clear and will be met during/after development phases
  • Sharp mind: ability to identify customers’ needs and opportunities based on business goals and market data
  • Involvement: experience building trust and relationships with key stakeholders by regularly checking in on project status and getting client feedback
  • Consulting skills: awareness of key domain trends, new features, and competitor products to be able to advise clients on what could be important for their product
  • Negotiating skills: ability to get to know your team and project specifics well to be able to support your team and negotiate with clients during issue escalation times
  • Good sense of humor and positive attitude towards work


  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts
  • Schedule regular activities (emails, calls, onsite visits) with accounts in CRM
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service, if necessary, attend calls with PMs, demos and retros with the client
  • Monitor the client’s budget, explain costs, and negotiate new terms or cooperation models if necessary
  • Communicate client needs and demands to internal stakeholders
  • Work with inbound leads (generation, qualification, deal closing, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on case studies, social media posts, and blog articles
  • Prepare proposals, SoW, contract attachments, schedule and send out invoices
  • Report to management

Will be a plus:

  • Technical background
  • Previous experience in the full sales cycle: prospecting, lead generation, sales, and deal closing
