About project:
An automotive project for one of the world’s most famous car manufacturers.
We are developing a revolutionary BMS for hybrid, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid cars that will help cut off the usage of lead-acid batteries.
The final design has to be based on the AUTOSAR framework and comply with the appropriate level of ASIL security. The project is based on a three-core specialized controller, which is produced specifically for the automotive industry.
Necessary skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years of embedded development experience
- Strong understanding of the AUTOSAR framework
- Experience with automotive projects
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic on various layers — MCAL, BSW, OS, RTE, memory and mode management, CAN, COM, DIAG
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR configuration tools, e.g. ETAS ISOLAR, Vector’s DaVinci Developer, or EB tresos Studio
- Experience with automotive bus systems (CAN, CAN FD) and diagnostics over the UDS protocol
- Experience in working with automotive-grade multicore microcontrollers (e.g. MPC/SPC5x series) and compilers (WindRiver, Green Hills)
- Strong experience in unit testing, code review, and usage of static analysis tools
- Upper-Intermediate English
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Will be a plus:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in technical leadership and team guidance throughout the entire product development life cycle
- Knowledge of the MISRA C standard
- Experience in the application of ISO26262 in ASIL-relevant projects
- Understanding of the Automotive Bootloader
- Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements analysis activities and assign tasks for the development team
- Assist in development and provide technical guidance to the team throughout the entire product development life cycle
- Collaborate with the team to identify and fix technical problems
- Liaise with team members, management, and clients to ensure the project is completed up to the standard
- Create end goals for the development team
