This role is central to our growth — helping bridge our legacy platform and the next-generation system, while also aligning backend infrastructure with cutting-edge AI backend logic.
🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead Ukrainan who will:
- Lead development and integration across both (PHP/JS) — and (React/Node.js) platforms. ( PHP/JS — Support ) ( Node.js / React — New code )
- Architect, plan, and build a scalable system for AI-powered communication tools.
- Manage and mentor our distributed dev team.
- Collaborate with the CTO and AI backend engineer
- to align frontend/backend systems with LLM integrations.
- Take ownership of both code and people, setting standards for engineering excellence.
✅ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong, hands-on expertise in:
- Node.js (Express, REST APIs)
- React / Next.js
- PHP (Laravel or raw PHP)
- Familiarity with Python — enough to understand and maintain parts of the legacy system.
- Experience working with SQL databases and designing scalable schemas.
- Comfortable working with both legacy stacks and planning clean migrations to modern architectures.
- General understanding of AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, OpenAI, vector search, embeddings) is required.
- Hands-on experience developing AI systems is a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Redis (caching, pub/sub, background tasks).
- Strong leadership, communication, and remote team management skills.
