C Middle/Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced C Software Engineer with solid knowledge of Linux OS and strong understanding of networking protocols to work with our expert team.

Larch Networks (larch-networks.com) has been on the market since 2009, has two offices in Israel and Kiev, and the main development center is located in Kiev.

The company has two directions — design and product.

The main area of ​​activity is software and hardware development for switches, network equipment and embedded systems.

Why are we doing this?

Since projects are the historical foundation and basis of the company, working with clients’ projects, we are constantly developing in terms of technology, keeping our finger on the pulse and trying to make high-quality projects.

How do we do it?

We use the following tools in our work:

RedMine as Bug / Task TrackerGitLab as Version control and Continuous Integration

TestRail for working with test plans

A Python system for automated testing

Common sense and the brain are for everything else :)

What professional skills are important to us:

3+ years of commercial experience in C programming language

Experience with Linux (including Make files, Shell scripts writing)

Will be a plus, but not required:

Busybox, BuildRoot, YoctoUboot bootloader

Introducing FreeRTOS / Other RTOS

Acquaintance with C ++, Python

Will be a big plus, but not required:

Knowledge of L2 / L3 network protocols (for example, ARP, STP, IGMP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, etc.)

Embedded programming (using ARM or MIPS cross-compilers)

Experience with Open source network operating system “SONiC”
