The role:

Our team of cybersecurity experts is committed to delivering top-notch, ensuring our clients stay ahead of evolving cyber threats. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Consulting Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Cybersecurity Consulting Manager, you will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, oversee project execution, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team of consultants.

The candidate will be responsible for the following areas

  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and oversee cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage project risks.
  • Regularly communicate project status to clients and internal stakeholders.
  1. Client Relations:
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives and tailor cybersecurity solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for additional services and project expansions.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of cybersecurity consultants.
  • Provide guidance on technical and professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and address any team-related challenges.
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-level cybersecurity services.
  • Collaborate with technical experts within the team to address complex challenges.
  1. Business Development:
  2. Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, increasing brand reputation etc.
  3. Develop proposals, scope projects, and present proposals to prospective clients.

Experience and skills required

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess Bachelor and/or Master degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business studies with Information Systems major/minor along with deep interest in technology risk, security and IT governance
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering cybersecurity projects.
  • Have strong research, analytical, organizational, problem solving and inter-personal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve common goals.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following cybersecurity areas: Incident Response and Digital Forensics, Network and Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, ICS\SCADA Security, Penetration Testing and Red Team Exercise etc.
  • English — Intermediate (B1) and higher and/or a strong desire to improve English skills in a short time
  • Have experience with security related regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI/DSS, ISO 27001, NBU, GDPR
  • Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications are highly desirable. Technical cybersecurity certifications (such as GIAC\SANS, CREST, Offensive Security, CCNA/CCNP CyberOps, CCSP or similar) are preferred
  • Standing and positive reputation in the cybersecurity community is seen as a plus.
