KPMG Ukraine is currently looking for experienced Software Development Team Lead who are interested in joining a software development team of KPMG international compliance services center. The services of KGSH include tax compliance solutions for multinational groups in the retail, automotive, energy, real estate, information, communications and entertainment sectors. The Center covers business in more than 40 countries with relevant language and technical skills and is focused on enhancing added value for clients.

It is great opportunities to lead smaller (6-10 persons team) cross-functional software development team, ensures delivery in line with the software development lifecycle. You will deal with people management tasks, like career path, goals, performance review, feedback.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensures the delivery of software development tasks;
  • Sprint and capacity planning;
  • Management of daily operations, task allocation, ticket administration;
  • Fair and efficient distribution of work to team members;
  • Collaboration with other team leaders, managers;
  • Arranging team meetings;
  • Arranging 1-1 meetings, giving feedback;
  • Keep teams informed of company, team and other events, changes, etc.;
  • Provide input on the team’s annual performance evaluation;
  • Performance manager of team members;
  • Team and member development planning;
  • Allocate Peer buddy to New Joiners;
  • Approves holiday requests;
  • Reporting to the direct manager;
  • Supplier management;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably IT or management related degree;
  • English, fluent intermediate (speaking and writing);
  • 2-3 years development project experience;
  • Leadership experience;
  • Experience with software development methodology (Agile; Scrum; Kanban);
  • SDLC process knowledge;
  • MS Office user level knowledge;
  • User level knowledge of at least one ticketing system;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Teaching, developing skills and attitude;
  • Analytical thinking;
  • Attention to details;
