Business Analyst (Strong Middle)
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our client, a Canadian-based digital studio specializing in Branding, UX/UI, Motion, and Creative Web Development. One of their flagship projects is a custom web platform for a US-based company producing public safety drones.
These drones, equipped with audio and multi-camera video streaming, are deployed by police and fire departments across the US. They enter buildings and hazardous areas first — enabling reconnaissance, communication, and safe access to blocked or dangerous spaces.
This role starts with 1-1.5 months of part-time involvement and further transitions to full-time allocation.
Must-have Skills
Hard Skills
- Requirements Elicitation and Documenting: User stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, wireframing, functional specs.
- Analysis & Modeling: Process modeling using UML and BPMN notations.
- Traceability & Change Management: Maintaining requirements traceability matrix, managing product backlog, documenting and processing change requests.
- API & Data Understanding: API documentation (endpoints, parameters, responses, errors); basic data analysis (SQL, Excel, dashboards).
- Tools: Jira, Confluence (or similar), visualization tools (Figma).
- Methodologies: Strong experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- English: at least Upper-Intermediate.

- Communication: Clear explanations to business and technical audiences.
- Stakeholder Management: Negotiating priorities, managing expectations, resolving conflicts.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical and structured approach to complex problems.
- Collaboration: Effective cross-functional teamwork and proactive knowledge sharing.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured, and testable requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases).
- Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders.
- Maintain and update requirements traceability matrix.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and UX teams to ensure alignment.
- Support API documentation and data requirements analysis.
- Validate implemented solutions against requirements and business objectives.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Interview Process

- KITRUM’s Technical Interview ~ 1 hour.
- Client Technical Interview ~ 1 hour.
Working Conditions
- Location: Fully remote (Ukraine preferred).
- Schedule: Ukrainian working hours, with evening calls for USA stakeholders.
- Start: Part-time (4 hours) → transition to full-time in 1–1.5 months.
