Middle Automation QA Engineer

🔍 We’re looking for a Strong Middle/Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team that works with a leading employee development platform. The personalized and measurable platform enables growth-driven organizations to manage all employee development initiatives on a scalable platform.

As a Middle/Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, ensuring high-quality software products. This is a remote position ideally suited for candidates based in Lviv or Warsaw or working remotely within compatible time zones. We seek a highly skilled individual with a strong foundation in automation testing, a passion for learning, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

🎯 Must-Have for the position:

• 3+ years of experience in testing automation, particularly for web applications
• Proficiency in testing methodologies (planning, design, execution, reporting)
• Strong scripting/programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript (Node.js is preferred)
• Familiarity with basic SQL and databases
• Experience working in a CI environment and with CI/CD methodologies
• Prior experience testing cloud-based services across both the frontend and backend
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English

Nice to Have:

• Experience writing API tests

Tech Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2+, Node.js, CI/CD, Cypress, Playwright, CSS, HTML.
Team Composition: A distributed team consisting of a lead, product manager, 2 BE devs, and 2 full-stack developers focused on front end.

• Work schedule: 8 am to 6 pm CET

📋 Interview Process:

• HR Interview: An initial discussion with our recruiter to explore your background and fit for the position.
• Technical Interview with KITRUM: Focuses on automation testing, scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript), and CI/CD tools, including a practical assessment.
• Client’s Technical Interview: 1 interview with a technical expert from the client’s side, focusing on automation and cloud-based testing skills.
• Final Interview: A converstation with the VP of R&D to assess your cultural fit within the team.
