— 2-4+ years of experience in manual testing
— Able to prioritize demands whilst working within a multi-stakeholder environment
— Excellent fault-finding, debugging and diagnostic skills
— Good understanding of micro-services and complementary testing approaches
— Strong testing background in REST API and Web GUI testing
— Solid experience using clients like Postman and Swagger
— Comfortable using SQL with an understanding of databases
— Comfortable using continuous integration tools like Jenkins
— Extremely organized and methodical whilst remaining pragmatic
— Confident collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
— Level of English: Upper-Intermediate

— Define end-to-end user experience and detailed user stories
— Contribute towards testability in order to influence application design for effective testing
— Author detailed test plans against user stories and develop test automation frameworks
— Analyse complex business requirements, to identify interdependencies and impact of payment specific applications
— Proactively engage with all stakeholders (Engineer, Product Owner, Solution Engineering) to close gaps in requirements
— Define and record test cases using the some languages format
— Debug, record and manage defects throughout their lifecycle
— Design and update dashboards for reporting test results in real time
— Track quality metrics and generate reports for stakeholders
— Consistently execute REST API tests manually using Postman for manual and exploratory testing
— Author new and update existing automated acceptance tests in JavaScript
— Contribute towards the wider QA community to facilitate knowledge sharing

Client is an online lending British company that provides fast and easy working capital funding to small businesses in South Africa. The client develops a Bank accounting platform for SME where they can manage their bank accounts, analyze spendings, generate and share invoices or get funding, and much more.

The project has challenging tasks and a lot of space for self-development. It is going to be a development from scratch, no legacy. You will work with cutting edge technologies and approaches, using Agile methodology. All processes are well-documented. Client is pretty flexible and all your suggestions are highly appreciated.
