Senior Machine Learning (ML) Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

— 4+ years of experience applying ML in industry, especially related to Personalization
— Great coding skills and software development experience (Spark, Scala, Python, Java, Tensorflow)
— Strong background in ML and Recommender Systems, with a deep understanding of supervised and unsupervised methods (collaborative-filtering, content-based, deep learning, reinforcement learning, contextual multi-armed bandit, causal inference)
— Successful track record of ownership in challenging cross-functional projects
— Demonstrated ability to design and build complex systems that have positively impacted the business
— Level of English: Upper-Intermediate

— Ph.D. or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

As an early member of a world-class Recommendations team, you will lead the way by creating and owning the next generation of machine learning algorithms and end-to-end systems that power the experience for our 6B+ monthly recommendations and 100M+ users around the world.

What you’ll do:
— Work across the product and technology leadership groups to define and optimize ML strategy
— Coach, mentor, and develop a deeply talented team of data scientists, statisticians, and developers
— Use ML techniques to increase digital accessibility for our growing and diverse customers
— Apply algorithms to our business to improve customer experience, create operational efficiency and make recommendations as to best algorithms to use for different use cases
— Build advanced machine learning models and improve the accuracy of those models
— Deploy the models in production where it will serve customers in real time
— Work alongside applied machine learning researchers and data scientists to define the right solution
— Test validate, and deploy algorithms into production ready status. Ensure models maintain explain-ability to make decisions and choices around predictions and impact on the business
— Collect the right data for predictive modeling and algorithm development.
— Work closely with business intelligence and data engineering to deliver on projects.
