Position Description
Kindgeek is looking for a DevOps engineer who thrives on ownership and stays calm under pressure when production is on the line. Your mission will be to take our Stablecoin Issuing Platform through its final launch stage and keep it running reliably in a regulated, high-stakes environment. This is your chance to shape the infrastructure backbone of a live digital finance product from day one of production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the production infrastructure and leading it through go-live, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;
- Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS) across multi-region cloud environments;
- Managing cloud resources (VMs, storage, databases) using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform;
- Designing and running multi-region disaster recovery, defining and regularly testing RTO/RPO;
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitOps (ArgoCD) for streamlined software delivery;
- Configuring observability — Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging, and alerting — for continuous operation and fast issue resolution;
- Ensuring regulatory readiness (audit trails, log retention, change management, operational resilience per DORA) and leading incident response and postmortems;
- Explaining and defending infrastructure decisions to the client’s CTO, and collaborating closely with developers, QA, architecture, and project management.
REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who has:
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineer role;
- Strong experience with AWS, including EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC, and KMS;
- Deep, production-grade experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration;
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform (Terragrunt is a plus);
- GitOps experience with ArgoCD;
- Experience designing multi-region, high-availability, and disaster recovery setups;
- Hands-on experience with an observability stack — Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging, and alerting;
- Strong understanding of cloud security: secrets management, IAM least privilege, network segmentation, and image scanning;
- Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and microservice architecture principles;
- Upper-intermediate or higher English level.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Keycloak, RabbitMQ, or Temporal;
- Understanding of regulated environments — MiCA, DORA, EMI, PSD2;
- Experience in fintech, banking, or crypto;
- Experience with service mesh systems (Istio).
