We’re looking for a developer with a solid background in Ruby on Rails. This role is essential for refactoring legacy code and creating new, user-friendly functionalities. We’re building a new team from scratch, so you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the development process and drive innovation.
The project is built using Ruby on Rails and React Native. It’s an ongoing project, already released and constantly evolving. Our app helps pet owners communicate with their animals through buttons that indicate specific needs, like “eat” or “walk,” blending technology with behavior science.

Key Responsibilities:

— Refactor and optimize existing code to improve functionality and maintainability.

— Develop and implement new features to enhance the user experience.

— Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT components as needed.

— Use AWS and related cloud technologies to optimize performance and scalability (experience with AWS is a plus).

Requirements:

— Experience: 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails

— English Level: Upper-intermediate or higher.

Familiarity with AWS, IoT, and legacy code will be a plus.
