Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with fintech experience (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a dedicated Site Reliability Engineer to support and monitor a complex infrastructure, ensuring high availability and system performance through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee system reliability on Linux (Debian) servers
  • Monitor Arista network equipment and respond to network alerts
  • Manage VPN solutions (OpenVPN, Tinc, WireGuard) and monitor connections
  • Configure and monitor firewall activity (iptables)
  • Support containerized environments using Docker
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database systems (Redis, MongoDB, MariaDB) and RabbitMQ
  • Perform routine checks on CI/CD pipelines and deployments
  • Monitor backup systems and manage restore processes as needed
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure using Zabbix, setting up notifications via Telegram and Slack
  • Utilize Graylog and OpenSearch for log aggregation and analysis
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response and escalation

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Infrastructure and Networks:

  • Strong proficiency in Linux (Debian)
  • Experience with Arista network equipment (a plus)
  • Familiarity with VPN solutions and firewall management

Containerization and Microservices:

  • Experience supporting Docker-based environments

Database and Queue Management:

  • Experience monitoring Redis, MongoDB, MariaDB
  • Knowledge of RabbitMQ and handling replication issues

Monitoring and Logging:

  • Expertise in Zabbix, including Telegram/Slack alerting
  • Experience with Graylog and OpenSearch for logs

Incident Response:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving incidents swiftly

Soft Skills:

  • Effective communication with development and support teams
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with proactive monitoring skills
