Now we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Development to spearhead rapid growth and oversee key commercial operations at our company. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in the financial services industry with a proven track record of driving business growth.

This role requires a visionary and dynamic leader who can swiftly identify and capitalise on business opportunities, manage multifunctional teams, and deliver high-performance results. This individual will be responsible for developing new growth markets, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring we outpace our competitors.

💻 Key Responsibilities:

— Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
— Team Leadership: Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance, setting performance targets, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
— Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and nurturing key client relationships.
— Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
— Partnership Development: Establish and manage strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company’s market presence and create mutually beneficial opportunities.
— Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
— Product Development Collaboration: Collaborate with product development teams to align product offerings with market demands and client needs.
— Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, pricing models, and tactics to meet and exceed sales targets.
— Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
— Brand Representation: represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, promoting our brand, networking with industry professionals, and establishing new business relationships.
— Stay acutely aware of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, using these insights to shape business development strategies and maintain the company’s industry leadership.
— Regularly evaluate and assess the effectiveness of our business development efforts, making necessary adjustments to optimise results and achieve rapid growth goals.

🔥 Requirements:

— Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.
— Proven Experience: minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in a senior business development role, with a track record of achieving revenue growth and managing a high-performing team.
— Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
— Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
— Strategic Thinker: Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop and execute long-term plans.
— Client-Focused: A client-centric mindset with a history of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
— Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills for dealing with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
— Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Innovative: A creative thinker who can identify and act on new opportunities.
