We are seeking a Senior Node.js Engineer for our Partner Company in Great Britain, an AI-powered talent platform designed to accelerate hiring, enhance workforce skills, and improve employee retention. Position Overview: We seek an experienced Backend Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on ETL development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in backend development, experience with cloud platforms, and data processing, and strong problem-solving skills. If you also know Golang, you are a gem!
Staff augmentation model, the team consists of 6 engineers +EM & PM in London;

Criteria:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years as a Backend Software Engineer
• Significant experience in ETL development
• English Advanced

Technical Skills:

Programming Languages: Proficiency in NodeJS (Typescript) or similar backend languages

Cloud Platforms: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including services like Kubernetes, Storage Buckets, and Cloud Functions. Similar experience with AWS or Azure is acceptable.

Data: Familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming tools, and experience with large data ingestions or processing large quantities of data

Databases: Strong understanding of NoSQL and relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Logging and Monitoring: Experience with tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar logging and monitoring stacks

Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
