Role Overview:We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead and innovate within our backend development team. This role involves architecting and implementing backend solutions for our suite of applications, integrating secure payment processing, optimizing API performance, and ensuring robust data handling and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead backend development tasks using ASP.NET Core, adhering to clean architecture principles.
• Design, develop, and optimize RESTful APIs that support both internal and external functionalities.
• Manage and improve database solutions, currently on SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Implement and manage service integrations with third-party tools, particularly for payment processing, including webhook handling.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment on Azure Cloud.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members to uphold coding standards.
• Regularly monitor and improve system reliability, scalability, and security, with a focus on testing and quality assurance practices.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years in backend development with expertise in ASP.NET Core.
• Clean Architecture: Strong understanding and experience in implementing clean architecture patterns.
• Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server, including complex queries, performance tuning, and database design.
• API Development: Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and security.
• Payment Processing: In-depth knowledge of payment gateway integration and webhook handling.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Solid understanding of unit testing, automated testing, and code quality tools like SonarCloud.
• Cloud Services: Experience with Azure Cloud, including DevOps and CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Security: Deep understanding of best practices in securing backend systems, particularly around payment processing and sensitive data handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the food-tech industry or with restaurant management applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices in Azure, especially in managing scalable deployments.
