As a member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to create best-in-class buyer experiences using modern tools, technologies, and practices. You will work directly with colleagues across the company and contribute to technical decisions that shape our platform and product architecture.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, focusing on building user-friendly and visually appealing web applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, responsive applications that provide a seamless user experience.

What You’ll Do 🌟

• Design, develop, test and maintain NewHomesMate’s software applications and systems
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality standards are met
• Contribute to the development of the engineering roadmap and ecosystem
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, share experience with other engineers
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to tasks preparation
• Create and maintain FE specific technical documentation
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, data quality managers, and other engineers
• Collaborate with non-engineering teams to identify and solve problems
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development to identify new opportunities

What We’re Looking For 🚀

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React and Next.js using TypeScript
• Proficient with modern CSS tools and crafting responsive, visually engaging UIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience working in product companies
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to see the big picture
• Proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing solutions
• Passion for software engineering

Would be a plus:

• Experience working with Next.js app router, TailwindCSS, React Aria Components
• AWS experience
