Job Description:

We are looking for a Middle/Senior Full Stack developer to join our team.

Requirements:

o Full stack development experience in a commercial environment
o JavaScript / React web app development experience in desktop, mobile and tablet
o Node.js
o Experience in AWS, or similar cloud infrastructure. AWS Services of interest to us include:
o Amplify, CLI and tool chain
o Lambda,
o App Sync,
o EC2, S3
o DynamoDB
o Cognito / Authenticate
o English level — Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Other skills include GraphQL, REST API, HTML, CSS
• Use of DevOps and automated pipelines is beneficial
• Be open and outgoing
• Be positive
• Be confident and proactive
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have knowledge and experience of working within a fast-moving Scrum team
• Not be shy at coming forward and speaking up.

Project Description:

Our client is developing applications that will allow users to add, edit and maintain vessels in the fleet, updating contract details, initiating the mobilization and demobilization processes, assigning tasks to users, adding and editing key scheduled activities throughout the contract and vessel lifecycle. The is one of the client’s desktop web applications that is being developed and deployed using Amazons AWS Serverless technologies. The critical part will be React (front end). Is Serverless, there is no server in the traditional sense. Only deploys in AWS and AWS Amplify to build and deploy serverless technologies such as AWS AppSync / GraphQL, AWS Lambdas and AWS DynamoDB.
