Business Analyst
About the Project We are building a platform that connects high school student-athletes with college coaches across the USA, streamlining the recruitment process: coaches discover and evaluate athletes, athletes find and choose their college.
What You Will Do
- Gather and formalize requirements for new functionality
- Break down features into clear, structured tasks with defined acceptance criteria
- Maintain a steady backlog of development-ready tasks
- Collaborate closely with designers to shape and validate solutions
- Communicate directly with stakeholders to clarify needs and align expectations
- Propose solutions for topics that require additional research
- Maintain and improve project documentation
You’ll need:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a product or service company
- Proven ability to gather, structure, and document requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria)
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with large volumes of information
- English — C1
- Experience using AI tools to speed up routine tasks (with proper review)
Bonus skills:
- Experience working in a product team of up to 50 people
- Proficiency with visualization tools (Miro, Figma)
- Understanding of UX/UI design fundamentals
- Experience writing technical documentation for APIs
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, PSM, etc.)
