What we expect from you:

• Qualification in natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, or engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of modelling and simulation of complex numerical systems; parallel programming and collaborative software development; and, methods to organise, explore, visualise, process, and analyse very large data sets
• Knowledge and experience in designing solutions for web applications on Azure, Big Data, Big Compute, Cloud computing, HPC.
• Knowledge and experience in C# development using .NET Core, C++, Python, NumPy, MFC, Fortran.
• Good level of knowledge and practice of SOLID OO-design principles and design patterns.
• Good level of experience in TDD, creating and maintaining unit tests including mocking.
• Good level of experience in reviewing and testing development code.
• Experience of product development in agile development environment; awareness of Agile software development values and principles; experience using Scrum frameworks.
• Good communication and influencing skills; good presentation and time management skills.
• Excellent and demonstratable analytical and problem-solving skills
