Itera is looking for a person who can design, plan, and architect solutions based on IBM Cloud Paks with a wide experience within IBM products, system engineering, system automation, and continuous integration to join the distributed customer projects.

Strong technical background and knowledge of IBM products and architectural principles, ability to evaluate customer current state and architect a solution, as well as good communications skills, are essential. The qualified candidate will be in close cooperation with development and operations teams to maintain and improve existing processes to guarantee the reliability of underlying environments.

Business trips to Norway might take place.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Analysis of Customer’s current state and define needs in close cooperation with business users
• Design, plan and architect infrastructure management together with automated provisioning and monitoring based on IBM Cloud Pak products
• Design automation of routine tasks and operational processes
• Create architectural documentation
• All in close cooperation with business and infrastructure engineers at all stages for solutions tunning and according to business needs
• Be part of our Cloud Centre of Excellence team

Professional requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in architecting solutions based on IBM products
• Cloud services (Azure or IBM preferred, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud are optional)
• Understanding of DevOps, GitOps principles
• Experience working Linux (RHEL is preferred, Ubuntu, CentOS are optional)
• Configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins)
• Infrastructure as code technologies (e.g., ARM templates/bicep, Terraform)
• Configuration management (Ansible/Ansible Tower preferred, Puppet, Chef are optional)
• Container and container orchestration technology (RedHat OpenShift preferred, Kubernetes)
• Logging, monitoring, and metric collection systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK)

Be a plus:

• Certification IBM
• Certification in MS Azure
• Workflow Automation
