• An experience in writing technical and user-oriented documentation for software products (at least 2 year experience as Technical Writer)
• Strong editing/writing skills
• Knowledge of documentation development workflow and instructional design techniques
• Communication skills
• Candidate should be able to work on multiple complex projects

• Knowledge of the processes involved in documentation development
• Knowledge of UI design standards
• Knowledge of basic documentation standards
• Knowledge of Help Authoring Tools (such as, for example: Adobe RoboHelp, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Author IT, Help&Manual, WebWorks ePublisher)
• General understanding of the “single-source” and “re-use” approaches
• Ability to create and process illustrations (knowledge of image capturing and processing tools)
• Basic HTML knowledge

• Write and proof-read own, as well as, co-workers’ documentation for content, format, design and style

Position description:
Leading U.S. based technology developer (named cool vendor by Gartner) opens the Technical Writer position in its Kiev branch office. The successful candidate is intended to analyze existing documentation, create new documentation packages for family of own products which are being developed in direct collaboration with world leading IT companies, such as Oracle, Microsoft, IBM.
