Project description:

Large client on the East Coast. Pooling investment income on the blockchain. Using this money to assist in the purchase of homes for low income families. Then when those families sell, a good portion of the profits go back to the investors that helped purchase the home.

Technologies stack on the project: React.js, Node.js, Next.js, AWS. .

Team size (Current): Team of 4 developers.

Qualifications:

5+ years in JavaScript development on Full Stack engineer positions;

2+ years with working as Tech/Team Lead;

Strong knowledge of React js engine, architecture, etc;

Strong knowledge of Typescript, ES6/ES7, CSS, HTML5;

Experience with Node. js;

Understanding of SDLC;

Awareness of modern approaches, tools, etc in the frontend world;

Good communication and leadership skills;

Strong problem-solving skills, proactive position, OOTB thinking, flexibility, and motivation to bring new experiments;

Experience with Webpack and similar tools;

Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.

English level: Upper intermediate or higher

Experience with Next. js — will be a plus.

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage a team of 4-5 engineers;

Mentor and advise the team in code review, pair-programming and more;

Work as a part of the team in hands-on development at least 60% of the time;

Discover the technical debt & challenges and assist in solving them.

Design and develop architectural approaches;

Code reviewing;

Cooperation with other decision makers;

Drive initiatives.
