Description
This project is a large-scale complex of management systems for the city and its residents, covering everything from technical systems, transportation, and life support to accounting and management systems.
It’s one of the most interesting, engaging, and truly unique projects we’ve worked on recently. It is also one of the most ambitious IT development projects in the world today.
As part of the NEOM Economic Department of Statistics (EDS) project are looking for experienced Data Engineer with excellent Google Cloud Platform knowledge to join our team for one of the project in that region.
Responsibilities
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through an appealing visual design
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile-responsive design
- Write technical documentation
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
- 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role, specifically with Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery), JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- An analytical mind
