Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality software on schedule
• Extend and optimize current software architecture
• Perform design and code reviews regularly
• Explore and evangelize new software design and architecture
• Challenge and learn from your peers
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Develop Proofs of Concept to continually improve processes and products

Requirements

• 3+ years of developing enterprise software and/or distributed SaaS systems in an Agile process
• Proficient knowledge of Git is required
• 3+ years of practical Object Oriented Programming required
• 3+ years of Go programming is required
• Experience with GoKit is preferred
• Ability to write unit tests required
• Test automation experience is required
• Solid understanding of the following is required:
• Microservices, containers, and deployment pipelines (k8s, aws preffered)
• RESTful APIs, both creating and consuming
• Advanced SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Excellent communication skills across a global cross-functional audience
• Ability and willingness to lead technical discussions and make technical presentations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
