Intetics Inc., a leading global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is looking for a Ruby Developer to enrich its team with a skilled professional to spread the company’s ideas, vision, content, and messages.
About the Client:
Intetics client is working on the algorithmic trading system that helps their end customers to make a profit from their securities.
The developer will gain an understanding of algorithmic trading and will be supervised by the guru in American stock markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust, scalable and secure features
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Participate at all stages of the development lifecycle
- Implement best practices of test-driven development٫ continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards
- Stay informed about relevant new technologies and drive their continuous adoption and integration into the design
Project stack: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Rest API, Docker, Sidekiq (experience in creating jobs that are running on schedule, for example, the data fetching from external providers which happen each day at 10 AM UTC), PostgreSQL
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails
- Experience with Rest API, Docker
- Knowledge of Sidekiq PostgreSQL
- Good spoken English
- Experience in the Fintech domain would be a plus.
