The mission of the data team is to build an innovative cloud data platform for the retail industry to transform the shopping experience with data-driven solutions on a large scale using Azure stack (Azure Synapse Analytics)

Responsibilities

• Design data model and develop integration and data processing ETL\ELT pipelines to feed data lake and large-scale data warehouse

• Design and implement pipelines to detect anomalies in data quality
• Work with industry experts to develop and support analytical and AI solutions
• Design data platform microservice architecture

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data munging techniques
• Proven experience in Big-Data architecture
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying production systems with reliable monitoring and logging practices
• Understand best practices in data quality and quality engineering

• Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets
• Experience in Software Engineering with at least one of Python / Scala / Java / .Net
• Good written and spoken English level

Would be a plus

• Experience with Azure stack (in particular: Databricks, DataFactory, Delta Lake)
• Experience with spark batch and structured streaming
• Experience with data mining and anomaly detection techniques
• Knowledge of retail domain
