Extensive experience in Systems Engineering,
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery,
Able to shell script and write effective Python or Ruby,
Extremely comfortable with Unix/Linux CLI,
Experience with an AWS environment with automated deployment, provisioning, and configuration tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Saltstack,
Experience with installing, managing, and operation of NoSQL and SQL databases, like MongoDB, MySQL, and Vertica,
Deep familiarity with TCP/IP, with understanding of internet routing protocols and switched environments,
Being an excellent problem solver, and willing to roll up the sleeves,
Debian or Ubuntu Linux know-how is preferred,
Distributed systems experience,
Fluency in English.

The key responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining scalable, reliable, consistent, and repeatable systems,
Implementing deployment and system maintenance tools like Ansible, Puppet, etc,
Working closely with Development to deploy new software and improve existing systems,
Tackling any issue that may occur along the way,
Responding reliably to on-call issues as needed.

Client is seeking Systems Engineers to help drive operational and infrastructure requirements, and assist with building tools to manage the infrastructure, and work with the Development and Product organizations to architect and deliver new technologies into their platform/products.
